Chicken Manchurian Full Recipe
Chicken Manchurian is a popular Indo-Chinese dish made with boneless chicken pieces that are deep-fried and then tossed in a spicy and tangy sauce. Here's a recipe for Chicken ManchurianIngredients:
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine cornflour, all-purpose flour, black pepper powder, and salt.
Add the beaten egg and mix well to form a thick batter. Add a little water if needed to form a smooth batter.
Dip the chicken pieces in the batter to coat them well.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken pieces in batches and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
In another pan, heat 2 tbsp oil over medium heat. Add ginger and garlic and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.
Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and green chilies and stir-fry for a minute or two until the vegetables are slightly softened.
Add the tomato ketchup, soy sauce, red chili powder, sugar, and salt, and stir well to combine.
Pour in the chicken broth or water and bring the mixture to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for a minute or two until it thickens slightly.
Add the fried chicken pieces to the pan and stir well to coat them with the sauce.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
