Chicken Teriyaki Recipe Indian Style
Here's a recipe for Chicken Teriyaki with an Indian twist:
Ingredients:
- 500 grams boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix together the ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the marinade.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes soft and translucent.
Add the marinated chicken and cook for 10-12 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Add the chopped green onions and green chillies to the pan and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as per taste.
Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
