Chilli Fish Recipe Bengali Style
Here's a recipe for Bengali-style chilli fish:
Ingredients:
500g boneless fish (such as bhetki or tilapia)
2 onions, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
3-4 green chillies, sliced
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt, to taste
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
Instructions:
Clean and wash the fish thoroughly. Cut it into small pieces, around 1-2 inch in size.

Instructions:
Clean and wash the fish thoroughly. Cut it into small pieces, around 1-2 inch in size.
In a bowl, mix together the ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Marinate the fish pieces with this mixture and set aside for at least 30 minutes.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fish pieces until golden brown. Remove and keep aside.
In the same pan, add the chopped onions, sliced bell pepper, and green chillies. Fry until the onions turn translucent.
Add the fried fish pieces to the pan and stir gently. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice.
