Ingredients:
  • 250g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup corn flour
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper (capsicum), chopped
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Spring onions, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine corn flour, all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper. Add enough water to make a thick batter.

Dip the paneer cubes in the batter and coat well.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the coated paneer cubes until they turn golden brown. Drain them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

In another pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil and sauté onion, bell pepper, garlic, ginger, and green chillies for 2-3 minutes.

Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Mix well.

Add the fried paneer cubes to the sauce and toss until well coated.

Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.

Your delicious chilli paneer is ready to serve! Enjoy it as an appetizer or as a side dish with rice or noodle
