Paneer Teriyaki Recipe Indian Style
Paneer Teriyaki is a delicious fusion dish that combines the flavors of Japanese teriyaki sauce with Indian paneer cheese. Here's a recipe for Paneer Teriyaki in Indian style:
Ingredients:
- 250 grams paneer cheese, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 capsicum (bell pepper), sliced
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds for garnish
For the Teriyaki Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the teriyaki sauce and set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix cornflour and water to make a slurry.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and capsicum and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they become tender.
Add paneer cubes and salt to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes until paneer is lightly browned.
Pour the teriyaki sauce into the pan and mix well with the paneer and vegetables. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the paneer and vegetables evenly.
Add the cornflour slurry to the pan and mix well. Cook for another minute until the sauce thickens further.
Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot with rice or noodles.
